Nagarkot Sunrise Tour - Overview
Nagarkot (2,175 m) sits on the eastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley and offers one of the widest Himalayan panoramas near the capital. On a clear morning you can see from Annapurna in the west, across Ganesh Himal and Langtang, to the Everest massif in the east.
We leave Kathmandu before dawn, watch sunrise from the view tower, and on the way back you can add a visit to medieval Bhaktapur.
Itinerary
Hotel pick-up about 4:30–5:00 am and a 1.5-hour drive to Nagarkot. Watch sunrise from the view tower, then enjoy breakfast with a view. Optional stop in Bhaktapur Durbar Square on the way back (adds 2 hours).
